This week, I’m launching a new podcast. Checking In will be published each Tuesday, and will be a short podcast only a few minutes long, where I share my thoughts on the issues affecting tourism globally through the lens of sustainable tourism.
You can expect me to be talking about such topics as tourism destination planning, government policy, the impact of carbon emissions on the industry, the issue of overtourism hitting many key destinations right now, new modes of sustainable tourism, transportation technologies, communities in tourism destinations, plenty of international research and much more. The podcast is aimed at being helpful to anyone in the tourism sector, and those thinking about or studying tourism.
Checking In will be hosted here on my website – there will be a menu item above from tomorrow when Episode 1 is published. Once the podcast has been “cleared” by third parties, it will also be on Spotify, Apple and other key podcast platforms. But from this week, it’s all on the podcast page on my website, which is here.
